"You are never sure what you will find staying in a pub. This is a gem. Great selection of beer, proper cobs and pork pie and, despite being a busy pub, the room was very quiet and supremely comfortable. The staff were all so friendly. I tried hard to find a single word to sum up breakfast. Stupendous? Splendid? I settled on magnificent!!!"

"Stayed here for 2 days. Very close to the train station, as well as the bus stop for local buses to nearby villages. It was perfect for my needs. Bed was comfortable as well, and I slept like a baby. NOTE: There's no door to the bathroom (only a curtain). If you're sharing a room, make sure you're comfortable with this."
