"In town for a wedding, our family wanted to stay together at this large house. Upon check-in and choosing bedrooms we noticed that none of the sheets had been washed (hair, boogers and mascara on the beds). In many of the bathrooms, there was only one clean towel. "Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. The neighbors aren't super close, but I'm sure this property had issues with noise in the past and that probably ruined it for everyone going forward. The pool table and ping pong tables are smaller than your typical, but I thought the shuffleboard table was legit. The house was clean, no issues there. We had mild weather so I can't...

"Such a beautiful house to enjoy peace away from home. The view of the meadow, sounds of the creek, waterfall, goats, deer, geese add to the serenity. Everything we needed was at the house, but we did also enjoy a day in Tahoe City and Grass Valley. Missed the Nothern Lights but saw the stars from the floor to ceiling windows. We will come back!"

"The host never responed to our repeated attempts via text, email and phone about how to access the property. We ended up staying in separate hotel rooms on Thanksgiving weekend. To add insult to injury, the VRBO rental fee was deducted from our bank account and we are now waiting for VRBO to process our refund."

"We had a large group for family reunion. We had rented many times but NEVER had a house so well equipped! We literally did not need to bring anything; especially kitchen items. It was just incredible! The grounds were stunning, pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, incredible bbq area, SO many seating areas and just top quality! The owners were absolutely amazing in their communication! We just can’t say enough-a 10 star rating is warranted! Thank you Annette 😃"
