"This was one of the nicest vacation stays I've ever had! The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you could ever need for comfort (and even luxury - the bedding was exquisite!) The TV offered all of the streaming options. The WiFi worked perfectly. The private yard/garden was truly lovely -- also quiet and peaceful like the cottage. And the host was friendly and instantly responsive. I can see why this property has gotten so many 5 star ratings, and I can't wait to return!"

"We loved our stay at Bruce and Claudia’s little hideaway! It was a great place to stay with our dogs during a trip to the Placerville area. It’s close enough to downtown, but far enough away to experience the peace and quiet of the river! Everything was as described, you have your own space and privacy, but they are close by if you ever need anything. We will definitely come back and stay again!"

"We had a great stay at the Hummingbird House! It was peaceful, quiet and a great place to unplug. There was convenient laundry on site and Tal and Audra were communicative and very kind and helpful. They even dropped off sweets for New Year’s Eve after asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we do. Although the home feels secluded there is a grocery store as well as Petco only 15 minutes away. Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City are fun to explore and also nearby! There is another...

"We were unable to find the property and had no response from the host after an email regarding conflicting emails with two different check in times. We were on a wild goose chase with our navigation leading us to 3 different areas all with either a dead end road or locked gate! Frustrating- Would recommend no one to rent this place in the future! also would recommend Vrbo/expedia have a way to contact host directly for times like this!"

"I came to do a Christmas faire and see friends and thought I'd try a home rental for the first time. I was not disappointed and now i plan to come back and try to stay here again and again.
