"What a lovely arrival to this property, a warm welcome from Sandrine and a hamper of selected goodies, including local products. Thank you Sandrine for the written instructions to find the house, without which we would have struggled. It is a perfect holiday home with both indoor and outdoor space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly sitting on the sun-trap terrace, looking over the river, that leads straight off the living space. The beds were comfy, the linen was great quality and there were even robes that could be used. "Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

All in all....great.

"Overall this was very good. Friendly staff. Nice big bedroom. All very clean and tidy...although it could do with updating, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean but tired...although well scrubbed. The breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereals, pastries, meats, cheese etc We didn't eat evening meal but it looked OK, but we went to old town Brive for a look around. Overall excellent stay and especially considering the low cost."

Old farmhouse with privat pool- BADEFOLS D'ANS

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."

"The young lady on reception went out of her way to help me get a meal as the nearby restaurant was closed and there was nowhere nearby that I could reach on foot. We conquered the language barrier and I was able to have a meal delivered. Excellent service."
