"Lovely large room in a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants and public transport very close by, walkable to the city centre if you prefer. Large entertainment complex nearby with cinema, bowling etc. staff are very friendly and continental breakfast included with a sufficient amount of choice. Beds are comfortable and all your basics needed included in the room with tea/coffee facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. "

The decor etc. is quite dated and a little tired in places, but comfortable and generally clean, and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. A great breakfast with good quality ingredients. Some attention to detail with cleaning would be helpful - eg some mould in shower, and bathroom fan grill quite grimy, the odd cobweb, and some accumulated dust in nooks and crannies. But could not fault bedding, towels etc., and the bed was...

"The place is ok. But the staff were difficult to find if at all And although it does say on the web-site after paying £400 you have to pay £10 per day for parking. Which I think is a bit cheeky "

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."
