" Avoid Vita Portucale and this house !!!!! Our stay for 1 week was a disaster. We didn’t receive the correct address, and no one was there to greet us. The house was dirty, poorly equipped, and had multiple issues: a filthy pool, leaking faucet, unusable washing machine, ant-infested mattresses and dirty, and low water pressure, toilet was blocked for all the week. "If you enjoy the quiet countryside in a lovely home, but still close enough to many gorgeous beaches or mountains - this is for you! The bed was comfortable, kitchen stocked, everything needed for our week stay. We enjoyed Porto Covo for the small town feel with beautiful beaches, Vila nova de Milfontes for some history and cafes, Evora for a nice day trip. Carlos was a wonderful host providing tips for visiting places and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Our stay at Moinho do Marco, also known as the windmill, was truly outstanding. A unique location with panoramic views of the ocean and Setabul surrounding areas. Staying in an old windmill, which has been lovingly restored, is a once in a lifetime experience. The host, Guadeloupe, was absolutely fantastic, very accommodating and a wealth of information about the Setabul area. We give everything about our stay a five star rating!!!!"
