"They gave us a wrong room with shared bathroom so we had to stay for one night not two, no staff at night or at check in. Other rooms are great and good people. Need a refund for the cancelled night. "

"Amazing - Ideal for a family holiday. We had a lovely time at Joao’s house. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 10 people. Supermarkets are close. We enjoyed relaxing together in the space and everyone (especially the children) loved the pool! "The most stunning location in the national park with glorious views. Lovely house, easily accommodated 8 of us. Well provisioned house. Worth noting that the room photographed with 4 beds cannot be accessed through the main house but through a separate side entrance. The house is not easy to find but host was really efficient and kindly arranged for the housekeeper to meet us at an easy to find location and we followed her to the house. "No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"We were very impressed with the location of this hotel - front row seats to 24-hour ocean waves. There was a glitch with the water/pipes in the wing we were in and we had to move rooms. The staff was apologetic and amazing in their professionalism to find solutions that worked. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Every room has a balcony I think. The seagulls float in the outdoor pool which is kind of nasty but since it’s January we didn’t plan on swimming out there. The location to local eateries is very close too which is a bonus. The tile work on the walls at floor 0 and up to floor 5 is amazing. I recommend this hotel to people. We enjoyed our stay very much. The village is beautiful. The people and staff are nice!"
