"Very close to the airport, but we stayed only for one night because we had a late flight in. We wouldn’t stay here for the whole duration of our trip - but it got the job done for a night to sleep. "

"Very basic. Like renting a room at someone’s home. Living area was not pretty but room is functional. No air conditioning. One set of towels for 4 days. It’s super cheap "

"When arrived it seemed that they were overbooked. Our studio was given to someone else. The replacement studio they gave us was terrible. A studio with 3 beds present. No table, no chairs, no curtains in street level bedroom, no towels, no hot water, reserved parking lot not available. No refund suggested or a gesture for the inconvenience. Bad hospitality."

"Reallu great experience, the host was great and the location is amazing. My only conpaint is tge running trains are a bit loud, but San Jose is a noisy place no matter where you stay so no stars lost. Ill try to stay here again soon."

"No kitchen - misleading - I didn't stay & they charged me a cancellation fee. I had to stay somewhere else."

"The pictures on the website are misleading. The hotel rooms look nothing like the pictures. The towels were very dingy looking and very old. The bedding looked like it had been washed by putting it in a sink. The shower had grime in the corners and where you had to stand. there was no shower curtain so when you showered the bathroom floor would be a giant puddle when you were done. I pulled the blankets back the first night i was there and the top sheet had stains on it. I had to remove it from...

"I stayed in the apartments leased by the hotel; and while the apartment was clean and the staff friendly, it is not a typical hotel stay. I found the environment pleasing and in a good location around Universidad de Costa Rica. If you are looking for a traditional hotel, the apartments at this hotel are not your best option. If you are looking for a short term apartment while in San Jose, it is perfect because it offers the benefits of a kitchen, which will allow you to save on food expenses...

"The Prado was very good The only thing that I did not like about it was the neighborhood it was in it seems to be in a lot for some sort of construction place I don't know exactly what that was but anyway the hotel was clean the staff was friendly the breakfast was okay I have had better but it wasn't bad overall it was pretty good neighborhood was the only thing that I didn't care for"

"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "This place is very convenient to and from the airport which is why we stayed there. Free shuttle to and from airport. Not convenient to downtown Staff was helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable "

"A very nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Very clean. The breakfast meals need to have more variety. Their phone system when you they ask if you need English speaking staff and you press the corresponding number, the line disconnects. You end up having to call multiple times and eventually pressing 0 to reach someone. But the front desk personnel are top notch. The Sky Bar at the pool was never opened the times I went and expected someone to be there. I wish they did have a place to smoke cigars on the property instead by the guard booth outside the gate. Very close to the road and lots of bugs there. But still, I would recommend it to anyone going to Costa Rica. "

"We got what we needed, a comfortable stay at the airport after our late arrival. The room was clean and the breakfast was great - I really appreciated the cooked to order omelet or eggs. We did not explore other facilities as we checked out in the morning. We will stay here again on the way back, before an early morning flight. "
