"My daughter and I stayed a week while she had auditions and interviews at LA Tech. The location is perfect, close to campus and also to the restaurants and downtown. We enjoyed the visits from the cats, possum, and raccoon on the back porch! Will definitely stay again when we move our daughter into her dorm in the fall. Very highly recommend. "

"The Ledford House was perfect for our group. The house is exactly as depicted. It is super cute, offers plenty of space and had everything we needed. We loved learning about the history and all the barber shop paraphernalia was fun to see. The property is located on a busy street with mostly commercial businesses surrounding it. Morning traffic is a little loud if you are a light sleeper. The overall location was convenient. We would stay here again without hesitation!"

"Blue Heron was the perfect location for our family who were in Ruston for a LA Tech graduation. The house and grounds are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The house was spacious and the kitchen extremely well stocked. An added bonus were the cookies, blue Heron ornament, and snacks that greeted us when we arrived. "Secluded and quiet but close enough to get to either Shreveport or Ruston. We rode up Hwy 519 to check Lake Claiborne and Homer. Then back down to Minden. Very scenic."
