The hotel was clean and attractive. The bed was comfortable, although only three pillows were provided for a king-sized bed, and the climate system was easy to adjust. The breakfast was good, except for the fact that there was no hot tea, only coffee. Most hotels offer tea. The staff were very nice. HOWEVER, there were several drawbacks. First, if we wanted clean towels, we had to put our used ones and the trash outside in the hall before 9 am. I have never stayed in a hotel where I had to put out the used towels and trash myself in order to get clean towels. Clean towels were placed in the bathroom during the day, but the bed was not made. So there was basically no custodial care of the room during our stay of two nights. Second, the deadbolt did not work. The door was out of alignment, resulting in the bolt's not engaging when we tried to lock it. Third, the tv channels available were dreadful. The only news options were NewsNation and Fox News. None of the mainstream news channels were included. There were lots of sports channels, but few quality viewing options. So the tv was useless. Fourth, and most serious, was the fact that the bathtub was very slippery. There was no bath mat, and my husband actually slipped and fell completely out of the tub. He was lucky not to be hurt. I told the front desk about this, and the reply was that all the mats had been taken up because of covid and had not been replaced. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
