"Check in/out was great very helpful. Room was spacious. Staff were very friendly. Only downside -Struggled to get phone signal anywhere and WiFi wasn’t great. "

"Disappointed that had to pay additional fee for parking. However it's not made very clear when booking through Expedia. I only realized when contacted by hotel the day before arrival. Shower bathroom very cramped. Toilet roll rack very poorly located. Difficult to reach once using facility. On the plus side: Toiletries, towels and contents of room tray goodies very good. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed our food in the evening in the bar/restaurant. So overall ok."

"Lovely hotel and would stay again. Areas are a little dated and with simple, cheap changes like new shower mats in the bath would make the rooms so much better (these look mouldy underneath)"

"For the price I paid I wasn't expecting the world, but I've stayed in similar hotels for lower prices and generally had much better experiences. The room was very dusty and stuffy even with the fan on & window open, and the surroundings noisy due to the location of the room with various deliveries early in the morning. I was also kept awake from a neighbour's snoring all night so would question the quality of the walls! Tv seemed to have issues and kept cutting out which was annoying. Experience outside the room was ok with friendly staff, good parking etc. so I hope my room was just a one-off bad and that the other rooms offer a more pleasant stay."

"The hotel is set within beautiful grounds of Goodwood estate and is only 13 minutes drive to Chichester and 20 to Arundel. The rooms are large, comfortable and well maintained and their main restaurant, Farmer Butcher Chef serves delicious food. There is always staff on hand for anything and we have felt well looked after. The only slightly negative thing we found was finding our way to our room - I think the corridors could do with more signs as us and other guests were often wondering down corridors looking for our rooms :-D. "

"Very handily located for the ferry port. It seemed strange not having a bedroom window, but as it was within sight of the motorway that worked in its favour. Next time I will check in earlier to try the restaurant "
