"Small boutique hotel in an excellent location for exploring La Rambla. My only gripe is that the thermostat appears to be inoperable and I was unable to make my room warm. The temperature may be centrally controlled which is not good for cold natured people like me. Excellent staff though!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Catalunya. Its location is central to the pedestrian street Avingula Port San Angel. It is 5 minutes walk to Cathedral de Barcelona and Plaza Catalunya in the other direction. Despite its size, the hotel has an elevator and the rooms are moderate size with clean updated bathrooms. Housekeeping is excellent and staff are helpful and friendly."
