"Sadly we were only here for a couple of nights, but this place was very nice. I manage vacation rentals myself and i was very impressed by the cleanliness of this place, especially considering the size of it. The house is great for a family with lots of room to spread out. Our grandkids enjoyed tinkling on the piano and playing in the backyard. Would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy private retreat and hope we get to come back. The canton was as advertised- very private with a beautiful view across a wide (and for us, snowy!) yard and into trees, large wonderful fireplace, kitchen with everything we needed, and comfy bed. While the place is private it is also an easy short drive to lots of good local stuff, like hiking, groceries, and nice dinners out in Lenox, etc. The hosts were very responsive but not obtrusive! A perfect getaway. "

"Unfortunately, my group and I wasn't able to stay at the octagon house due to flooding. We got a very timely message on Friday before our check in time informing us of the situation. The property owner was able to offer us a stay at a similar property in the area and things were all set within 15 minutes or less! The lake house was absolutely gorgeous and we had a blast!
