House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! We grilled, enjoyed the view with a snowy day/night, melted in the hot tub, and chilled by the fireplace at night. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. Communication was perfect.
