"This place was a classic hostel. A little rough and ready, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the people were fun and social, and it was easy to get downtown or to the slopes. Rooms were good enough for the price, and though bathrooms are not en-suite I never had trouble getting to use one. The common area was fun with a pool table and many board games that many people were eager to play. You meet people from everywhere here!"

"Check in was hard. No one was at the desk, so they gave you instructions over the phone to get your key from an open box behind the desk (not very secure) and took me a min to find it. Also, someone came to my room at 8 PM to "turn on the fireplace" (I did not have a fireplace). When I called to report it, the receptionist said, "oh yeah, the heat is off, and they are going around fixing it". A little warning would have been nice.
