"The property is going through a renovation which they were very upfront about. Having stayed at many big chains over the last several years thought I’d give an old favorite a try. Glad I did, front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Some areas were under construction but everything was clean. For the first time in years there was maid service on a daily basis. "What a great surprise. Found this by browsing for accommodations while passing through the area. It’s a beautiful, historic Inn with excellent breakfast included. A fine dining restaurant is available in the evening. We stayed in one of the 8 cottages surrounding the main house. Property is beautiful with hiking trails and even a historic cemetery. Staff was friendly and accommodated requests. Highly recommend! We will go out of our way to return in the futur."
