"If you want a relaxing holiday In a rural setting but not too far inland that you can’t enjoy a visit to the beach, water parks and coastal restaurants - this is the place for you. Accommodation has everything you need and is cleaned to a high standard. You have the use of 2 pools on site, a BBQ area and outside eating area within a lovely orange and lime Grove. "We had an amazing stay in this lovely accommodation, the host Ricardo was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Ricardo made sure we had everything we had requested. The apartment had everything we needed. There is adequate storage, great pool and lovely views of the country side. The village of Algoz was only 5 minutes away, Algoz had a nice supermarket, cafe and bakery. We will definitely stay there again, location was great as it was away from the busy parts of the Algarve."

"We had a super nice stay in this house. It has plenty of space and a nice outdoor area. Beatrice was always very approachable and responded super quickly in case of questions. This is the perfect house for you if you want to wind down and relax. Another highlight was definitely the outdoor shower. Beaches are approximately 1-1,5hrs away. In the area are just a few restaurants but we used the fully equipped kitchen to cook for ourselves. For this case, it would be nice to have a bit more...

"Very lovely stay in the countryside "

"We really enjoyed the attractive house and the beautiful terraces overlooking the beautiful garden with an enormous diversity of plants and trees. We understand why the name Small World was chosen. The location is great. Quiet but within easy driving distance of a number of beautiful beaches and the location town of Silves. From the house you can also take beautiful walks in the immediate area. We will come back here for sure!"

"Un posto meraviglioso, immerso nella natura ma comunque vicino a un centro abitato con negozi e supermercati e a vie principali di comunicazione, quindi ottima base per visitare l'Algarve e il basso Alentejo. Wolf è un ottimo host, presente nella proprietà e sempre disponibile per fornire assistenza e consigli. Il luogo è spettacolare, silenzioso e perfetto per le passeggiate o lunghi giri in kayak sul lago (sono arrivato alla diga e tornato, un pomeriggio splendido). Consigliatissimo"

"Fantastic hotel-clean, comfortable, modern rooms in a quiet rural setting. Short 10 minute drive to town. The breakfast was incredible-farm fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough positive things about Quinta da Luz…except that our stay was too short."

If you like privacy DO NOT STAY HERE

"Location is beautiful But we value our privacy and the owner of the property doesn't let you know he is coming x 3 times in the 2 weeks We woke up one morning to find him in the garden! We had children with us and did not feel safe when he left as he just leaves the gate wide open The swimming pool was very unsafe and filthy the owner had to call a technician out to fix the pool and it took us a hour to clean the pool when we arrived On day 2 he accused us of breaking the umbrella outside when this was already broke The toilet in the on-suite bathroom after every second flush you have to take the system apart to stop the water constantly running As a family we didn’t feel like we could kick back and relax as we always felt on edge and never knew when he would show up Will not be staying here again "
