"We absolutely love this place! It is the perfect spot for anyone planning a trip to enjoy the snow. We stayed here with friends and their young children, and it proved to be very family-friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean, which was a big plus. One of our favorite features is the on-site restaurant. The food and cocktails were fantastic, allowing the parents to relax and enjoy their drinks while the kids had their dinner. Additionally, there’s a small store that offers snacks and drinks, which is very convenient. Although we didn't get a chance to use the heated pool, we saw plenty of people swimming. We will definitely stay here again!"

"From the moment we arrived, the front desk was extremely accommodating, friendly and kind. I told them ahead of time it was a over night trip for my husband's birthday, and they went above and beyond, providing a bottle of wine, and two beautiful cupcakes made by a local baker. The room was beautiful, so clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. A huge part of my husband's birthday wonderful experience was thanks to the staff, and their eagerness to help make things so special. We will absolutely be back, and soon. Beautiful grounds, beautiful room, easily walkable to local restaurants and shopping. Everything was literally beyond perfect. We are so thankful to the staff. "

"We loved our stay at this historic hotel downtown Grass Valley. It had charm, interior of the hotel was amazing and our room was cute and clean and just what I expected. "

"Diane was a great hostess. She contacted me soon after booking and let me know what to expect until check-in time. It is clear that she has been doing this for a long time.Upon arrival, she greeted us and showed us around. All the fire pits were nicely prepped and easy to start. Our daughters loved the games and toys she had. It was a perfect getaway for kids of all ages. She even had a VCR with Disney movies! Each night we watched a different movie, and it was a nice throwback.The only thing that could have made it any better was if there had been snow outside."
