Shoutout to the Nepalese gentlemen who spoke English, helped me, and made my stay even better. Breakfast was really delicious and filling. The location is also very convenient. "I saw many Japanese business people there, it is walkable to the Takushima Station, by taxi is under 1000 yen. I asked front desk staff about where is the nearest bus stop to get on buses to the Tokushima Station, but both the 2 staff on duty couldn’t give me a clear idea. Later I found out the bus stop is just 200 meters away: walk out from hotel main entrance, turn left walking to the cross road and turn left again. Only 250 yen to the Tokushima Station. "

"This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."
