Location was central and walkable to Cliff Walks and Thames St shops and dining as well as the Bellevue Ave. shopping district. The entire house is gorgeous, and our room was amazing from the size, beauty and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom to the window view of the harbor. Breakfast was a feast of delicious foods. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks to all at the Sarah Kendall House who made our one night in Newport absolutely perfect! "

Great restaurants and oyster shack very close which was nice for a couple of our meals! Highly recommend this fun place. It was a great taste of Cape Cod history and culture! "

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
