"Enjoyed our stay at this retreat for a friend’s wedding. Just the place we needed. Good size rooms, plenty of space, and great communication with the hosts!"

"We were there for a grandson’s wedding in the area; it was perfect for our family; five married couples and four tweens!! Plenty of room for all; it was luxury to have so many bathrooms (one of my sons and his family flew from Asheville and appreciated that as they had no water at home)! Kitchen was well stocked with all cookware etc.. no eating out; we all are foodies!! Lots of frig storage; no need for coolers. "We were in contact before the stay and the owner was so very helpful! The property was very clean and larger enough for our group! There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen that we were able to make all of our meals for the weekend. The toys supplied for the kiddos were great, giving them plenty to do!"

"My sister and I only stayed for one night and used one of the rooms in the house but it was the perfect place to stay for the concert. The host, Steve, was very helpful and even drove us to and from the concert! Property is situated on a beautiful serene lot, hummingbirds were abundant out on the deck, had coffee and pastries in the am prior to checkout. Great spot!"

Former Lutheran Church remodeled into a vacation home

"Property manager was kind, communicative, and responsive to questions. Thoroughly cleaned. Tons of beds, private bedroom space, huge kitchen well stocked with equipment and dishes, and multiple large areas to hang out. We had ~35 people and there was tons of extra space. Clear Lake is a charming town, very small, with friendly locals and a grocery store in short walking distance. Just an hour from MSP airport as well. "Apple river house was very pleasant, easy to find everything, plenty of space for large get togethers. Great access to the Apple river if you are interested in tubing and very close to the cedar lake raceway. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"Perfect for our group of 7! Everyone had their own bed. Bathrooms were perfect. Towels, bed linens were perfect. The yard is immense and the view of the lake was gorgeous! Took a long walk on Saturday morning. Played games at the large dining room table, had a bonfire in the fire pit, visited Dancing Dragonfly winery. All fun! "

"The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is supplied with any cooking utensil you would need. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels were provided. It rained an entire day, and we found puzzles and games to keep us busy. The lake is awesome and great for boating! Communication with the host was fast and helpful. The cabin is charming, and the lot is beautiful with lots of privacy. "

"Everything was great for our needs for the trip"

"This was a perfect quiet getaway. We even caught a fair amount of fish right from the dock. The kids had easy access for swimming and paddle boarding as well. Beautiful, clean home. Kitchen was probably one of the better stocked rentals I’ve stayed at. I’ve learned to bring my own Tupperware when staying at rentals. The only suggestion I would have would be to put some small dressers in the 2 larger bedrooms and a small shelving unit or something in the bathroom as there was no place to really...
