"I must admit that when my husband said "ecolodge" and "composting toilets" I was a little wary. From arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the property and friendliness of the staff. We were so impressed that we weren't even unpacked and we were discussing extending our stay. We dropped one of our planned stops on our trip to NZ just to stay here longer. "I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing.
