"Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

"Located right in the middle of town, we stayed in Kinnoul, larger than anticipated the two floors were wonderfully clean and modern, couldn't have been better. Lovely kitchen area with everything, apart from tea towels so we had to use the hand towel. Some reviews say there is noise but we must have been lucky, maybe neighbouring apartments were uninhabited during our stay, whole place was silent, apart from town clock chiming every quarter hour, which didnt bother us and wasn't through the...

"I stayed here so that I could attend the Highland games in Crieff and was only here just over 13 hours. Keep in mind that it's an old building with no a/c or lift and you'll be just fine! I took only the things I needed for the night in with me (leaving the rest in my car, where it felt very safe) and I slept with the window open and I was just fine (I'm very warm-blooded).
