"Although on a highway route, I didn’t mind the sounds of traffic. I focused and enjoyed the serenity surrounding the cabin. You could hear the water running in the creek while sitting on the swing on the porch. I used the wood burner quite a bit. Slept like a baby and woke up late every day!!"

The property is less then a 10 minute drive from the New River Gouge National Park Headquarters. It's close to many great hiking trails."

"We enjoyed our stay in this sweet cabin. It is as described in its listing. The kitchen/living area could use more lights. The AC unit was effective but noisy and there were no screens on any of the doors. So, to keep out the mosquitoes they needed to be closed."

We were even left a Bluetooth speaker and some books to use during our stay (they even extended an offer to keep a book if we were reading something we enjoyed).
