"Incredibly remote and rural location with the best located pool I've experienced! (light salt water too which was lovely) Very helpful and pleasant owners (Francoise & Giacomo) who also left us in private. We were looking for a few tranquil and relaxing days with access to coast/towns and mountains during the day - this surpassed our expectations! very ecological with solar power etc. Tip; take a swim or sit by the pool after dark, the sky at night is breathtaking - highly recommended."

Et pourquoi? Michelin donne des etoiles aux restaurants, 1, 2, ou 3 etoiles, ou -tant mieux- des BIB-gourmands. Mais chez Mado&Jean-Louis c'est comme un ciel etoile!! Magnifique, a tous les egards. "Nous avons loué ce gîte pour un weekend entre amis (2 couples et un bébés). Le gîte est calme et assez proche de Quillan et Esperaza où nous sommes allés voir les marchés. Le gérant était disponible pour répondre à nos questions. L'environnement est très paisible, les paysages de la région très suggestifs."

"Not a great experience. They never replied to my emails asking about facilities. Confirmation and T&C's only sent to me on day of arrival. It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "
