"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"This historic house for a week was perfect for our family with two five year olds and a 7 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and there was nice outdoor space to eat and have a fire. The village was peaceful and quiet, and the house was a great launching point for adventures all over the area. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and we had no issues with our stay! We would go back again if we ever make it back to that...

"This place was nice to stay in interlaken. Close you interlaken west station, close to markets. Interlaken is not a big town so you can walk everywhere if you have your stay booked in interlaken. Because its a self check in there is no one in the front desk to get service. If you need extra service such as towels, you would need to talk to people in the morning around 10am when they are here to clean rooms."

"We enjoyed spending Christmas at this Chalet! Monika was a wonderful host and even provide Fondu cheese for us on our arrival. Kitchen was well equipped, hairdryer provided and espresso machine. Chalet was cozy and warm! Would definitely stay here again."
