"Cheaper to book through the internet than booking through the hotel's website? strange. My stay was lovely, the pub is lively but not late, the food was good and my room was very comfortable. Parking was a real bonus."

"Check in was great, staff checked cars into the parking system for the duration of the stay, food was excellent, room was clean, the staff were all great, lots of choice of eating establishments, but I wouldn't have wanted to have missed out on an evening meal here either "

"We loved our one night stay at the Windmill! The staff are friendly and helpful and both the pub and rooms are just gorgeous. The place manages to be both light, airy and clean as well as rustic, homely and super cosy. We also had a delicious breakfast in the pub. We'll be back!"

"I arrived quite late so did not use the bar of restaurant, however in the morning did find a gorgeous ambience, very Christmassy now to. My room 14 was in stable block, unfortunately fir me i was above the washing machine so between 22:45 & 01:30 my sleep was broken each time it hut a spin cycle with a loud tapping from corner of the room. "Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back."

"We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "
