"When I first arrived I was slightly concerned because the hotel was out of down town Mumbai and didn’t look that welcoming. However the rooms were clean and comfortable. "It was distressing to look out of our room window and look down at the ramshackle tin roofs of a slum and see the inhabitants go about their daily lives right next to our 5 star hotel. This poor community clearly needs help. The wealthy 5 star hotels could surely pool their resources to construct a safe building and clear the unsafe precarious buildings. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Jyoti Dwelling. Very close to the airport. Lovely buffet dinner with attentive staff and a clean AC room with a king size bed. The staff didn't respond to my email for an airport transfer from the airport but they did make up for it by providing a cab at short notice to take me back to the airport the following day. Very close and convenient to the airport. Safe not working was the only other negative. I would recommend staying here if you need a safe, clean hotel...
