Magnolia has great outdoor space with a hot tub, fire pit, and deck.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs...

"Great central location right off busy Garrett Highway. Nice amenities, could even suit 3 distinct groups with sleeping for 14. Walk out lower level directly to the lake, steps away. Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners."

"We booked as soon as we saw the forecast for 12 inches of snow. Easy reservation process, simple check-in, and the property and parking area were well-kept. Definitely needed 4WD to get up the hill. Loved the wood fireplace!"

"We made a quick impromptu trip to Deep Creek for the first time for my wife’s birthday. Check in was super easy, and Patricia was great about staying in contact with us. Location is right on the main road and there is a pizza/Italian place right down the hill that you can walk to. We ate there our first night. We had a great short trip and the accommodations were just what we needed for a family of four. "

"We had such a lovely stay at the cottage. It was so clean and comfortable and fit our large family. The host was so accommodating and it was very kind of her to leave us cinnamon rolls. We will definitely be returning."

"Great location it was clean. The hot tub was a hit! Check-in process was easy. The back door to the hot tub has a tricky handle that I think should be addressed and there were some issues with the Roku box upstairs …otherwise kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed our stay & plan to come again"

"The house was amazing for our family of 18 people plenty of room and they were so accommodating with check-in and checkout, and all of our deeds will definitely run it again for next year. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want except for a pizza cutter. Lol"

"We spent the Christmas week with our adult kids at Buena Vista. The home served us very well with wonderful bedrooms on each level, a well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots, cups, glasses, etc) a huge dining table where games were played, puzzles built and meals enjoyed. We all talked about how we would visit again at Buena Vista in a heart beat."

"My husband and I stayed here with four adult children and this house was perfect! Everyone had room to spread out, if needed. And the family areas perfectly accommodated our needs for cooking, dining, playing games, and just hanging out in front of the fireplace! Property was clean, had all the necessary kitchen items, plenty of linens and towels, and a great atmosphere. Plus, the view off the back of the house is beautiful. "Highly Recommend to rent, but not the sturdiest construction so I wouldn't buy one of the homes. Faucets were loose and/ or falling off. Still worked, but I did feel I was close to catastrophe..."

"The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the amenities described. The hot tub was lovely and the game room and ping pong table kept our teen/ tween boys occupied. Located very close to Wisp and lots of restaurants and activities. It’s a gem. We would definitely stay at Knotty Bear again."

Had to find a way to barbecue elsewhere which was difficult with small children. That was to be our principal entertainment for the weekend."
