"Beautiful hotel situated on an ancient farm. The “new” buildings were constructed 200-300 years ago, yet are totally modern inside. Gardening is beautiful. Staff are incredibly friendly, caring and helpful. Breakfast was great and presented in a personal, pleasant way on a lovely patio. "We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."
