"Not fancy, but certainly a good place to stay for a Gettysburg visit. It's easy to visit the battlefield, and to visit the downtown area from the hotel."

"The place is fine. I was there attending an archaeological conference. bar on Thursday closed way early and had to wait over an hour to be served food. Bartender was great but overwhelmed by very large number of patrons. Rooms were nice but bed and pillows were lousy and couldn't cool room off at all."

"The pool has trees growing, the bathroom door was grime and lipstick . So we really needed a place to stay overnight . It was a bit gross. Sheets and towels were clean , no bed bugs, fridge, ac worked . A big space under the door so we put the rug to block it . No batteries in tv remote, cigarette burns on the bedspread which was also the blanket . I’m not sure if he is trying to fix it up or just doesn’t care . Pay a bit more and don’t go here . "Nice for a night! Above average breakfast for a chain hotel. Not a beautiful or historic location, but it's close enough to the all the sights you want to see, and a good value."

"Loved the atmosphere, the history and the holiday spirit. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good! Only minor complaint was the garden tub was out of service. Will stay there again!"
