"This property is UNSUITABLE for pilgrims, despite its close proximity to the Camino del Norte. There were no washing or drying facilities for clothes beyond ones ability to improvise in the bathroom. The owner was uncontactable and did not respond to my WhatsApp message written in Spanish. They did not have a stamp for my Credencial del Peregrino to record my stay, a necessity to prove having walked the route. There were no cooking facilities beyond a microwave and the restaurant at the hotel...

"Had an amazing stay at Hotel Itxas Gain Getaria! We spend a few evenings in Getaria visiting family, and the hotel was the perfect location for the visit. The staff was very helpful, highlighting the different attractions and restaurants in the area. Rooms were clean and well appointed (the Nespresso machine was a plus). I'll be staying there again if I'm back in the area."
