"The place was overall comfortable, but left a little to be desired in expectation. It's the shoulder season and freezing at night. We didn't arrive until after dark and it was 53 inside. I was raised not to go to sleep with electric space heaters on, but that seemed to be the only working provision. The gas did not appear to be turned on"

"We enjoyed our stay . The beds were comfortable. A plus is that there is coffee and a smores starter pack with firewood for the fire pit.Plenty of parking in the back yard. House was clean plenty of dishes and cups , could use some more pots and pans but we made do very well from what was there. Three bathrooms and plenty of beds. Communication was very good. The Dunkirk Pier is down the street. Not far to stores. We will return 😃"

"You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into making this place comfortable, clean, and unique. When I needed assistance, Terry and Angela were quick to respond, going above and beyond. Buffalo/Niagara Falls are less than 90 min north, and Erie/Presque Isle are 90 min south. In 15 min or less from the barn, I spent sunsets on Lake Erie, visited a winery (there are several to choose from), checked out a farmer's market, and spent time at a wonderful used bookshop. "The house was amazing! Beautiful, comfortable, super clean. We loved it! Perfect location, we went to nearby wineries (loved Johnson Estate winery) and Lake Erie. Highly recommend this house!"
