"Such a welcoming and cosy home in Bruges - not far to walk to the centre and toasty warm coming back from the Christmas markets. Lots of space for us all to spread out (7) and the home is very beautiful to be in. Beds all super comfortable with crisp linen too. The house doesn’t actually have a hot tub - it’s an indoor jacuzzi bath but there is a sauna with double shower. The kitchen is well equipped although the kettle didn’t work when we were there . Would recommend."

"We arrived on a sunday afternoon when shops are closed but bought some food to bring . Only negative we found was that there were no sheets or duvet covers . Hard to know sizes in advance and shops being closed made it challenging for first night when you travel from far away countries. Most other things available in the house. It has a good electric cookplate ,good size fridge,small freezer compartment. Sofa s are covered with blankets but comfortable. Beds were comfortable but single matresses...

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. The house was easy to find, impeccably clean, spacious and well laid out. Contact with the owner was easy and is very friendly. "Die Ausstattung des Hauses war nur "Basic" mit keiner Liebe für Details. Keine Sitzkissen auf den Stühlen, obere Etage sehr spartanisch ausgestattet, z.B.ohne Handtuchhalter, etc.. Die Betten waren sehr gut! Die Rezeption war gar nicht besetzt, telefonisch aber erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Ansonsten war das Haus sehr schön mit guter Lage zum Strand."

"The house was exceptionally well maintained throughout, beautifully decorated, modern spacious and spotlessly clean. Dirk was on hand, but unobtrusive and helpfully phoned a taxi for us one evening. We had a wonderful stay and wouldnt hesitate to return.The house is a short walk to a bus stop, where you can easily get into Bruges central."

"Das haus war so wie beschrieben. alles war sehr gut organisiert. der Pool war gut, Zubehör, wie zB ein großer Schwimmreifen, Sitzpolster für die Sitzgelegenheiten waren im Gartenhaus. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für den täglichen Gebrauch braucht. Es ist ein älteres Haus, man darf also nicht davon ausgehen alles neu vorzufinden. wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Abende auf der Terasse waren sehr angenehm. Bitte bringt euch Anti-Mückenschutz mit. Danke"
