"Lovely place to stay, quiet, comfortable and very close to the city centre. The owners were very attentive and made sure we had an early continental breakfast available before left for our flight. The only thing that wasn't clear was the advertised laundry facilities - there are none and your washing is sent out in a bag to a laundry service. We were able to work around it but a little misleading. Even with that knowledge we would happily stay there again. "

"One of a kind, large, five star bed and breakfast near to restaurants, downtown! Hosts were amazing to talk with and breakfasts were delicious. Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally specious! "The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

"Large but still slightly cluttered room. Hotplate and small kitchenette but no sink (plastic bowl) and a fold out table. Freeview TV. Suitable for a night or two but less so for a long stay. Two Fat Possums nearby does wonderful takeout Pizza but very popular on weekend for dine in. Bakery in same shopping centre is superb."

"This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere."

"Everything was beautifully clean and relatively new. The decor is nice and modern but plenty of options to sit in the small studio. I had a beautiful view of the Avon River out my window. Walking distance to all the restaurants and main shopping area. I arrived late at night and everything was set up for me to access my room without having to interact with their receptionist. Will stay here again in future."
