"From the time I arrived and was greeted by Alfio, who cheered me up and arranged activities, a bubble bath in my room, to dinning with Clifford, Peachy, and Aldridge at the Japanese restaurant. Food was extraordinary. Sharon who made the morning sunrise hike at the reserve unbelievable perfect. Dora and Hassini at the spa are amazing!!! Best hands ever!!! Melvin who arranged amazing tours on the resort. Ms. Fiona the GM of the resort who was gracious and kind and a perfect example and reflection of the staff’s heart and soul. This is definitely a piece of heaven and I was blessed to be surrounded by such an incredible place. My stay could not have been more special and perfect. "

"Stayed in Tanjung ocean view which got nice sunset view. All staff- room service, breakfast room , pool area, are all excellent. Check in was good, got upgrade . Pool was very old but maintained very well and clean. Beach area was not that good. Breakfast got everything, fresh juice, fruits pomelo etc. noodle sections. As mentioned before by others late check out is not allowed even when hotel is less than a third full. We were given “ star lounge access for staying on but as mentioned by others nothing in there except toilets. "

"Great getaway resort away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a couple nights stay as may run out of activities within the vicinity if staying longer. Staff were amazing and kind! Thank you to all!! Property condition is a bit outdated with expected wear and tear but kept clean enough for an enjoyable stay."

"Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again."
