"This is a guesthouse not a hotel. My first instinct was to cancel my booking due to the initial shabby appearance, however after meeting the friendly, helpful owner I decided to persist. Whilst rooms are clean they could do with a make over, the bed is excellent and very comfy. Breakfast is basically whatever you ask for, the owner shops daily and will keep feeding you till you are full ! ! The bus stops right outside, so getting around is easy, likewise the main station is 20 minutes...

"Instructions for picking up the keys were poor. We waited until the featured time of 4pm only to find the office not open. We waited and waited, then discovered the keys were in the locked box which was meant to be used for pick ups after 6pm. No one told us. Appalling. Especially when it's very hard to park a car in Nice. Then the washing machine broke down with our clothes locked inside it for nearly 24hrs. We had to leave with wet clothes the next morning, and there was no compensation for...
