We enjoyed watching the Olympics on the many big screen televisions, including the Media area in the basement (very comfortable seating)! The sofa in the den was comfortable for some, but low, and our older family members needed assistance (they laughed at themselves when sitting and getting up). "Mint House in Birmingham, AL was an excellent choice for us! It was our first time staying there and we were pleasantly surprised by the useful amenities they offer. We loved the full size kitchen and having access to a washer and dryer in our room! Check-in instructions were easy to follow. The room was very clean and cozy! We will definitely be staying there next time we’re in Birmingham! "

"Everything was very nice, aside from the fact that there's no thermostat in the cabin. The temp is controlled by the cabin above. Not a big problem for me, but if you like it warm, and the people above like it cold (or vice versa), you might be a bit uncomfortable at times. Night one, no one was above me and it was much colder than I would have liked that night.
