"Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. "We had a very nice 2-day stay in a room on the 1st floor. Luckily a member of staff was available to carry our 2 heavy suitcases up the stairs, as we were surprised to find there was no lift. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice of hot and cold food."

"We were thoroughly thrilled with Ilita Lodge! Perched high up on a hill, Ilita Lodge delivers splendid views of the ocean & the Great Brak River,, wonderful comfort, security & fabulous food! The only disappointment is that the GPS takes you on a very long un paved road to reach your destination, so go the other route! Otherwise we would definitely rebook there again! Friendly & helpful staff only make this lodge even more comfortable…"

"This must be the best place to stay in Knysna. I agonized about whether to stay here or closer in town and I definitely made the right choice. Everyone in ZA seems nice but the St James is beyond nice. It really is lovely to come back to a place where people go above and beyond. Great breakfast overlooking the water without the crowd. Nice place to have a cocktail after dinner. Huge room with great views. Private, safe parking area. I never even used the beautiful boat which other guests took...

"This place is an absolute gem! My husband and I truly enjoyed this venue for our last few days in Plettenburg Baii! The venue is absolutely beautiful but I can say that this place wouldn’t be as beautiful as it was without the great staff. The service given was superb and it truly felt like home being there!"

"We stated at both the luxury apartments in the shopping center, and in one the Rondavels. The luxury apartments were excellent, particularly walkable and with convenient reserved parking (a bit hard to find). The Rondavel was (obviously) a step down (dated), but still convenient and functional. "

A MAZE ING

"We booked Roseroc for one night at the last minute based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed. Kevin, our genial host is a mine of information. He suggested a great restaurant you could walk to although we drove and other interesting things to do.The breakfast was fantastic. We recommend the "Roseroc" poached egg. I will try to recreate this at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Roseroc. I'm not sure quite how my wife found this little gem nestled away but she must be amazing too."
