"We had an amazing weekend and Sue was just lovely. Sue was caring, loved to share some of her life experiences with us. Breakfast was amazing and we loved sitting outside by the pool and in the garden. While Sue did spend time with us she was very mindful of us wanting some time to ourselves. She was always extremely respectful of that. I will stay there again and would recommend to my friends. "

"The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. The owner, David, still tried to charge us for cleaning even though he advertised it as pet friendly and we ticked “pets” as coming. Very opportunistic and...

"This is a beautiful and tranquil place surrounded by nature. In the mornings, we were pleasantly surprised by the chirping and whistles of different birds; and cool, crisp and fresh forest air. We will visit again."

"Once again a great weekend, Love Greg's property perfect spot great sunsets and sunrises for pics or just to gaze with a cocktail/coffee. Perfect spot for us to go where we needed easy access to the Adelaide hills attractions. Quite location but able to have a good time, neighbours are good. "Barbara and her husband were very pleasant hosts. The facility was clean and well supplied. The surrounding gardens were beautiful and relaxing. The Adelaide Hills area was great to explore with wineries ,hiking, and quaint towns."

"The room was clean and comfortable. I reported that the Wifi didn’t work for our 2-3 day stay, and the Safe Box didn't work either. Plus, the iron although it worked perfectly, leaked water onto the carpet. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I cannot say anything negative about this property. It was so very well appointed. Everything was so nice and clean. Terrific parking, and walkable to everything you needed. In a quieter location than downtown center."

"Its a lovely relaxing hotel to stay in, I tend to stay at the Mayfair Hotel as first choice when in Adelaide. Only negative, Some of the front desk staff were somewhat inexperience, there was a problem with their EFT system. I was ask to check my card & be inconvenienced when all along it was their system & the staff did not know what to do?? "
