"Nice condo right on the beach. Loved watching the sea lions on the beach! The town is small and isolated. The drive in takes some time but is stunningly beautiful driving through the redwoods. Very peaceful there. Condo was clean and spacious. Nice location."

"Staff/ house keeper was super friendly and helped us get into our room and she even let us do our laundry since it was the off season and we had been camping on a road trip with a toddler for a week. Can not beat the views. "

"Cozy fireplace and a great view with wonderful ocean sounds coming up the hillside from the beach below. We had a lovely stay here for a week over new years. Very quiet and secluded!"

"New and clean. Check in was easy. Christine was available for any questions or needs we had. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Eureka but wanting a location without busy streets."

"The location of the property can’t be best. Amazing views and access to tide pools. Wildlife magic, sunset magic, moonrise magic! It was superb having kitchen access at a hotel experience. The staff promptly responded early in the morning when we were having pre-caffeine trouble with the coffee maker. I was impressed with the communication and welcoming attitude of the hosts."

"We absolutely love it here. As soon as we walk in I open the slider & take it all in and let all my stress go. Even after driving up the mountain in the dark. Which I don't recommend if you can avoid it. Our flight was late so we didn't have a choice. This is our second time staying here. We first came in 2019 for our 20th anniversary and came back for our 25th. The house was very clean & if we had questions the host answered us very quickly. We highly recommend staying here. "The property is extremely nice. It was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed sitting in the Hot Tub in evenings and early mornings watching the whales migrating south. We will be returning soon, before winter hits. "

"This condo is perched on the edge of a cliff with panoramic views of coastlines near & far. Rocky shore below has lots of picturesque outcroppings where waves crash, creating constant, beautiful background noise. Deer graze all around the property. The tiny Black Sands Cafe (breakfast, lunch) is a very short walk and has an ideal outdoor deck. "I travel to the area at least quarterly, and have stayed at many properties. This has been the best by far - Super clean, well appointed, nice neighborhood, conveniently located to freeway and shopping. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen had everything I would want, everything seemed new, the shower was terrific! The walls are quite thin, and I heard some really interesting conversations from the neighbors, but since I was only there long enough to sleep, it was not really an issue....

"The place was great in so many ways. The view and the beach and the sunset…. Just gorgeous. I never saw anyone who worked at the hotel. Apparently, ice is available in the office (according to the guide in the room), yet no one episode ever there, and there was nothing looking like a freezer. Again, the place is mostly great, just weird to never interact with a human once the booking was solid. "

"We had a great time at Redwood River Resort. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the Deer Haven cabin was a delightful place to stay - cozy and comfortable with fun rustic decor and a big comfortable bed. The heater worked great. The food at Harrison's was very enjoyable also. We will stay here again! "
