"A truly superb hotel with wonderful staff, excellent facilites and every comfort. We were warmly welcomed and loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Porto - close to everything and yet in a quiet pedestrianised street with great restaurants nearby."

"It was only a short overnight stay, but a great choice of hotel. Admittedly a little pricey for around 17 hours, and the only time in the hotel was for sleep. However, it can't be denied that this is a top class hotel, not a budget one. It should be noted that there's currently work going on around the hotel - I think it's to do with a metro extension, BUT it wasn't noticeable from inside. There are 2 metro stations very close by. The hotel is beautiful inside, and the staff were very helpful. No complaints at all."

"This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived; the staff were extremely friendly and courteous; as soon as the door opens they are greeting you (every day) it was a nice gesture. They cannot do enough for you. The room was spotless, and the cleaners were back and fore all day, checking the water in the room and if we needed more. The lounge area for the bar was peaceful and staff were attentive and helpful when choosing a drink. The spa area and gym we used once and this was so relaxing. The pool was lovely temperature and was heated inside and out, the gym was small but had a few bits to use. We didn’t make use of treatments but they seemed good. On to the breakfast, WOW! The choices were out of this world, fresh fruit juices, fruit, yogurt bowls plentiful pastries and cakes, hot food, but also freshly made eggs benedict, avo on toast or omelettes, and these were a complete treat. I would highly recommend this hotel, the welcome from staff; the food, the cleanliness and the overall quality of service and comfort. We will definitely stay here again without a doubt.
