"I loved the German Gasthaus feel. Breakfast was great. Very polite workers. I did not like being forced to buy the discount card. That should have at least been mentioned in the hotel booking information."

"Lovely quiet location. A 3km walk to local Oberkirch town through vineyards and some rural roads. Nice clean hotel, great breakfast and friendly accommodating staff. Plan to stay again the next I am in the area"

"Lovely property and Sylvie is a wonderful host. Our suite was beautifully decorated (and the AC was cool!). Sylvie provides a delicious breakfast with homemade jams and local yougurt, as well as a small selection of breads, fruit, meatt, and cheese. She also made sure we had a carafe of cold water to drink on our return, which was very appreciated. The peaceful terrace in this quiet village is just what we needed. "Person was horrible to deal with and cancelled stay day of. They were asking for money than agreed upon and were extremely rude and demanding. Also they are extremely demanding and expect the customer to bend around there rules and times, whenever is best for them"

"We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"Very clean and professionally run. A place where you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in providing a nice place to stay. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sophie qui est une personne entière et très professionnelle. La chambre est très belle et complètement sous le charme alsacien. Le confort y est parfait, rien a dire que des compliments. un vrai petit monde a la ferme au calme, repos et détente assuré. Le petit dej ben j'en salive encore Pour finie : hate d'y retourner "

"We were touched by Chantal's, Yves and Timothy's exceptional hospitality: The self prepared dinner with them was the highlight of our day! The next day we relaxed in the newly furnished spa. And the stylish decoration of the interior with combination of old building with modern elements made our excellent impression complete. All of this comes with a fair price-benefit ratio. We will come here again!"

"À partir du moment où vous avez en tête que c’est une chambre et non un appartement, qui faut traverser un couloir pour aller dans la salle de bain et toilette ou vous devez passer devant une porte transparente qui donne chez le propriétaire, qui peut sortir a tout moment quand vous êtes en petite serviette sortant de la douche ou en nuisette quand vous sortez des toilettes par exemple, le séjour s’est malgré tout bien déroulé.
