7 Cross Street

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (253)
"A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. Travelodge Galway

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (566)
"Really nice hotel! Rooms were terrific and very clean with big comfortable beds. Unfortunately it was a bit far from the city center, so it was a 20 minute walk to go anyplace. We took the bus on two occasions, and the bus stop was 2 blocks away. I would definitely stay here again but would budget for a taxi to get back and forth to the city center."

Travelodge Galway

Elegant Town House with parking

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (18)
"The price was high, but by far the best accommodation we had in Ireland. The host checked in that everything was okay, had good suggestions what to see in Galway. One suggestion was to walk downtown. Faster and easier than driving. They came in midweek to change the bedding. A fully equipped kitchen, and a grocery store across the road made meals easy. The Huntsman Inn restaurant and pubs were across the parking lot, so no need to drive. Truly a first class facility. "

Holiday at Hubble

2.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (39)
"Good value. The doors are really loud no matter how gently you try to close them. The walk to city centre is on a very busy road, but the upside is there plenty of shopping close to the hostel. "
