The Dean Galway

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (274)
"Very cosy tiny Mod Room unfortunately facing the pool on 1st floor , it is noisy from appliances being used and noise from the restaurants. Agility required for the very fitted bed. We got a late rate deal so probably shouldn't be too surprised. The Dean is a lovely friendly hotel in a great location. "

"It got 5 for girls at reception and others but it was a place to sleep at best"

The Savoy Hostel

2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (31)
"Easy check in, good facilities and generally clean. Some guests brought plates and food into the rooms which were left there overnight. Also some guests being very loud at 3am in the supposedly quiet area, when there is a common room downstairs. Staff need to enforce the rules to ensure comfort for all guests. Rooms a little warm and stuffy but much better than most hostels, comfortable beds, storage lockers and plugs/reading lights/usb at each bed."
