"We chose Canyon Motel for it's proximity to the Wellsboro main street and affordability of amenities, and we were not disappointed. We were able to relax in the Jacuzzi in our room after a long day of hiking and walking, or take in some heat in the sauna which was located in the pool area. The pool was heated, but not too warm and not overly chlorinated, which we have found to be a problem in most hotels/motels. Speaking of problems in other hotels, there were a few small details that made a huge difference to us. There were plenty of towels for our 3 day stay, including pool towels. Also, it's always bothered us how small the trash cans in other hotels can be; the trash cans in our room were bigger than most other places we've stayed and had liners in them. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to worry about overflowing the trash bin during a 3 night stay? The only small complaint we had was the Do Not Disturb card to hang on the door was very light and easily turned to Room Service Requested by accident. Our last morning there was interrupted by room service because of that. It wasn't a big deal, just something to think about. All in all, we will be recommending Canyon Motel to friends and family."

"Super impressive home in the woods. We stayed four nights at a great price. Extras were great like soap for dishes, hands, laundry. So quiet and peaceful here. Great time hope to return in spring to see more animals and the stars. It was cloudy most days and below zero one night! Car had a tough time on the iced roads but we made it! Amazing time we will remember forever. Hot tub made the trip extra special. The guest book is full of fun stories from other renters. All the windows were great. Absolutely gorgeous views. What a quest from Cape May NJ! Even went to Canada one day! 10/10 "
