Not too far from a dollar store and then a short drive to Marion if you want restaurants and shopping. Too cold for the lake but nice view and would probably be a great summer stay."

"We had a wonderful stay for the weekend. Excellent property and location. Fire pit is awesome! Very clean and functional house. Would definitely stay there again."

"The house was setup nicely with all amenities needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Nice fenced in yard for the dogs. Good communication from the owner when I needed help accessing the property. Only watch out was my dog found a pest trap under the bed. I picked up all the traps to ensure that she didn’t get into more and get sick. "

"We stay in a lot of VRBO's...and this is the best of them. Nate and Ruth are providing hospitality not just a place to stay. When we travel, we cook so I have a rubbermaid tub with everything that I would need, but I wouldn't have needed to bother because it's all available. Our young granddaughter visited us and we enjoyed the swing set in the back yard, walking around the pond and watching the horse across the street. There were even toys for her.
