The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much ourselves. The best feature of the hotel is that it is steps away from Gare Saint-Charles station (major train station) which is extremely convenient if you have an early-morning train ride like we did! "
