"All the staff were most cordial considering I arriving so stressed. The room was beyond expectations. The view amazing!!! We were welcomed with a beverage of choice upon arrival. They parked our car. It states an elevator (there is one and it’s quick) however, you must go down several steps to registration to get to it. That was the ONLY drawback. We will stay again if in the area. "

"After a white knuckle drive to get to the town center of Taormina (Welcome to Taormina!), we finally were able to relax and quickly settle in once we checked in to Hotel Villa Taormina. What an amazing gem of a property! This boutique hotel is located in an extremely convenient location in Taormina. It's a fully restored villa with approximately 15–20 rooms, and absolutely gorgeous. It's family run and the staff was more than welcoming and friendly. They really made us feel at home and almost part of the family. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and cozy. The views from the pool deck and bar are spectacular with amazing views of the sea and Mt. Etna. I am already planning my next visit to Taormina and will undoubtedly stay at Hotel Villa Taormina."

"Great view. It was possible to park in the big public parking garage and walk up the stairs in the back of the garage up to the hotel (if you are in shape, otherwise take the free bus). We found this useful. Also everything you want to see and do in Taormina is easy to walk to from this location."

"The location, overlooking the Mediterranean sea was absolutely amazing. New Years Dinner at the hotel? Better Impossible.. but the best part of staying at the Metropole was the service, incredibly friendly, happy Staff, Kudos for Angelique and Giuseppina. Highly recommend staying at the Metropole!! Memorable stay in every sense of the word. "
