"Great peaceful compound, but I was lucky to get in - having booked and paid for a nonrefundable room on Expedia the day before, on arrival they didn't know anything about it and said they were sold out. After about an hour they resolved it. My double room small cottage was rustic but very clean - no bugs or anything similar. Pool was great - there was a sign requesting 250 to use it but I was never asked to pay. Bar area relaxing, and the cabanas and sunbeds around it are plentiful and welcoming. I'd come again."

"We had a fantastic time at Waterlovers. From the excellent communication during the booking process to the stay itself, everyone was warm and accommodating. The resort is fairly small and had mostly couples or families with teenaged kiddos. An added benefit is that you ultimately get to know both the staff and the guests. It felt like an extended family reunion by the end. A huge shout out to Frank, Amina, Peter and the rest of the staff for making our stay comfortable and for teaching us Swahili and the local customs. "
